GIBRALTAR. 2 Quarts, 1842/1. NGC MS-65.
KM-3. Mintage of only 48,000 pieces. Stands alone as the finest seen at both PCGS and NGC. An absolutely fabulous example of the coin with luster charged surfaces powering through the even cinnamon colored tone. The degree of detail is simply amazing, with every strand in Victoria's hair sharply defined, and every brick of the reverse castle exhibiting crisp mortar lines. Devoid of any marks abrasions or other issues, it's difficult to imagine a nicer example existing anywhere, a true museum quality piece on every level. NGC MS-65.
