Proof-like fields all through the protected areas of the legends testify to what a sensational looking coin this Guinea looked like when first minted. The exceptional state of preservation insures that nearly all of the original detail remains, with golden glossy smooth surfaces on the portrait, and fields essentially free of any abrasions. A coin that will blend in nicely with other higher graded specimens from the era. NGC AU-55.
