GREAT BRITAIN. Guinea, 1775. NGC MS-64.
S-3728; Fr-355; KM-604. Fourth laureate bust right. To date, the finest known example at the grading services. It's a shame one can't go back in time to see what possessed someone to set a coin like this aside given its substantial buying power in 1775. And yet how grateful the next owner will be that such an act of stewardship was extended to this magnificent coin back then. Seemingly light years ahead of much of the rest of the world technologically at that time, it's difficult to look at this coin and not see the formative forces that became the industrial revolution in England. A coin of exceptional beauty, and one that demands inspection to fully appreciate all of its stunning qualities, suffice to say it is the finest known for a good reason. NGC MS-64.
Estimate: $2000.00- $2500.00
