GREAT BRITAIN. Elizabeth II Medals & Coins, 1953-2002. UNCIRCULATED-CHOICE BRILLIANT PROOF.
27 pieces in lot. Much of the value here will be contained in the 1953 CuNi Proof Set which includes the original case in near as-issued condition. Also, another 1953 proof 5 Shillings in capsule, plus half a dozen various 1977 Silver Jubilee issues along with assorted 2002 Golden Jubilee issues including a complete 2002 CuNi set. The lot includes several larger medals in gilt bronze, as well as a large silver medal (1977) weighing over 87 grams. All of this material is of official British Royal Mint issue, and in exceptionally nice condition, without ugly tone, stains or any other problems. Approximate retail value of $800.
