Inscription "DIVUS ALPHONSUS ARAGO SI SI VA VA HIE HVN MA SAR COR REX CO BADVATTEN GA C."; Reverse: Alfonso as a naked youth with dagger attacking wild boar as two hounds attempt to restrain it by ears. Inscription reads: "VENATON / INTREPIDUS" above. Signed "OPUS PISANI PICTORIS" below. A later bronze after-cast with even dark chocolate patina and pleasing uniformly smooth surfaces. VERY FINE.
