ITALY. Piedmont Republic. 5 Franc, L'AN-10 (1801). NGC MS-63.
C-4; Mont-9; Gig-3. From the very short-lived French occupied Piedmont Republic, and one of only eight examples assigned the MINT STATE designation from NGC and PCGS. Terrific iconographic design elements grace both sides, the dual effigies on the obverse being highly representative of the ideals of beauty as depicted by sculptures of the day. Nearly all white, and with exceptional luminous qualities, the piece at once generates the kind of excitement that only a seldom encountered high-grade coin can produce. NGC MS-63.
Estimate: $3000.00- $4000.00
