MEXICO. Escudo, 1750-MF. Ferdinand VI (1746-59). NGC EF-45.
Fr-20; Cal-type-62#215; KM-115.1. Only one example certified finer at NGC (55), with none graded at PCGS. Exuberant lemon-drop color gold with loads of original mirrored surface within the protected areas of the legends. The portrait would appear to have sustained most of the wear on this piece, leaving the rest of the coin remarkably intact with great detail. Struck on a high quality flan, a true premium example of this 4-year only issue. NGC EF-45.
From the David O'Harrow Collection.
