Cal-type-195#1872; KM-PnA1. RARE. This is the plate coin in Krause, a coin which is seldom ever seen for sale. The example presented here has been off the market for over 15 years. Clearly an ambitious design at the time, nearly everything about the coin would have been a large departure from the existing status quo in mid-17th century Mexico. An important very elusive pattern that is rich with Mexican numismatic heritage. NGC EF-45.
