Grove-2197; KM-211. Inward date. The nicer of the two pieces NGC has seen by at least an 18 point margin. Well centered with full legends and devices that render the coin immediately recognizable for type. Slight weakness seen through the bridge beneath the eagle, but exhibiting an impressive eagle with every feather struck-up. A terrific example of this SCARCE insurgent coinage, and a nice companion piece to other National Congress coinage in this auction. NGC AU-53.
