MEXICO. Peso, 1915-CHaFM. NGC MS-64.
KM-619; GB-72. Struck by The Army of The North during a particularly bad year for Pancho Villa, in which he sustained losses at both the battle of Celya and Agua Prieta. The current plate coin on the NGC website as this is written. Loads of satin frost luster with light woodgrain tone diagonally across the obverse. Reverse is equally attractive with a small blotch of tone confined to the 11 o'clock area of the rim. Well struck for the issue, an all around superior example of what is typically encountered. NGC MS-64.
Estimate: $400.00- $600.00
