MEXICO. Pillar, Portrait, & War of Independence Coinage, 18th-19th Century. FINE-ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
65 pieces in lot. Hefty little box of Mexican coinage containing mostly 8 Reales coinage from the later 18th century through the independence era. Several choice original pieces with others showing extensive chop marks and still others with more modest problems such as cleaning. The lot also includes a number of silver minors, several in remarkably nice condition up to ALMOST UNCIRCULATED with most of the lot averaging FINE. Not to be left unmentioned, the lot includes an assemblage of War of Independence copper Oaxaca issues in all denominations. Approximate retail value of $4,000. Inspection advised. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. FINE-ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
