MEXICO. Mixed Mexican Crowns & Minors, ca. 1835-1915. VERY FINE-UNCIRCULATED.
35 pieces in lot, heavy in Revolutionary pieces. Begins with a nice run of Cap & Rays 8 Reales, mostly circulated, with dates concentrated in the 1890s, but with one coin dating clear back to 1832. A few other pre-Revolutionary minors of interest including several in UNCIRCULATED such as an 1882-CuNi 5 Centavos, and a 1902 silver 5 Centavos. The attraction for most bidders will probably be the selection of Revolutionary issues, most from Oaxaca, over a dozen coins including several in UNCIRCULATED such as a 1915 Oaxaca 20 Centavo. Highlights include a 1915 Oaxaca 2 Peso with the usual crude strike but in solid EXTREMELY FINE condition for wear. Definitely a lot worthy of close scrutiny with potential hidden value for the specialist. Approximate retail value of $2,000. Inspection advised. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. VERY FINE-UNCIRCULATED.

Estimate: $800.00- $1200.00
