30 x 38 mm; 19.68 gms. Basso-155. Silver. VERY SCARCE. Commemorates the conquest of the Philippines, dated December 27, 1941. Six towns listed in English; Agoo, Damortis, San Fabian, Manila, Binalonan and Tarlac. Reverse, "Great East Asia War/Watari 8857 Unit" along with a quartermaster wagon. Struck by C. Zamora. Smooth fields with sharp details, quite nice for the assigned grade and far better than the few others extant. Lightly toned with underlying luster. CHOICE EXTREMELY FINE.
