PHILIPPINES. Japanese Occupation. Silver Medal, 1942. VERY FINE.
32 mm; 12.04 gms. Basso-161, with loop. VERY SCARCE. Commemorates the entry into Manila of the 22nd Quartermaster Corps on February 11, 1942 obverse (Basso-153) muled with a Surrender of Baton and Corregidor reverse (Basso-159). Decent amount of remaining detail, especially for the assigned grade, but without much luster. Nice rims and problem-free. VERY FINE.
