44 mm; 43.37 gms. cf.Basso-165. VERY RARE. Jose Paciano Laurel bust left, Republic of the Philippines flag on reverse. No recorded transactions of this medal struck in silver. The dies appear to have been wire-brushed prior to striking with noticeable raised die polish lines all through the obverse fields. Medium to heavy tone leaving an antique look to the patination. Crescent shaped cud noted along the reverse rim as made. Toned and attractive. ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
