MIXED LOTS. World Crowns & Minors, ca. 1632-1951. VERY GOOD-UNCIRCULATED.
Nearly 2 kg accumulation comprised of approximately 190 pieces, mostly from the 18th century, but with earlier and later material as well. Contains a nice run of Spanish 4 and 8 Maravedises coins with moderate duplication. Numerous copper Condor tokens including a 1/4d depicting a coin press in ALMOST UNCIRCULATED, along with Canadian ship and commerce tokens. Significant number of French minors from the reign of Louis XVI, many in high grade. Crown size silver includes a 1716 Ecu, an 8 Reales Cob, countermarked Guatemala on Peruvian Sol. Approximately 10 small packets of related minors, some from Straits Settlements and surrounding countries and other Pacific islands. A few amazingly high grade coins including an 1835 Chile 1 Centavo. Also, a threesome of large French medals, a pair from Louis Napoleon including a RARE zinc striking from the 1855 Exposition, plus an 1843 Louis Philippe I silver medal. An interesting and fun lot to inspect and explore. Approximate retail value of 2,750 Inspection advised. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. VERY GOOD-UNCIRCULATED.
