23 pieces in lot. Consists primarily of very desirable medieval silver coinage from France and Britain. Included are silver Groats from Edward III and Edward IV of Great Britain as well as similar size denominations (Tournois, 1/4 Ecu, Testone) from France from the reigns of Philip IV, Charles IX (Saint Charles), Henry IV, and Louis XIV, with all of the coins being high grade FINE-EXTREMELY FINE and generally problem-free. Another noteworthy coin sure to draw interest, a 1723 Russia Peter The Great Ruble (KM-162.2) in FINE with a small area of graffiti on the reverse. Other desirable coins include an 1884 Chile Peso and a 1953 Cuba Peso, both in CHOICE BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED, as well as crowns from Morocco, Southern Rhodesia, and Latvia.
