Approximately 60 pieces in lot. A varied grouping of medals struck in copper, white metal and silver, ranging in size from 13 to 60 mm. Some of the standout pieces include: a large 1770 French medal commemorating the accomplishments of the philosopher known as Voltaire, a very choice 1674 dated medal noting the unsuccessful Dutch attack on Belle Isle, an 1853 Belgian 10 Centime size medal honoring the royal marriage and a pair of attractive uninscribed silver Paris Mint medals to be presented at weddings.
