22 pieces in lot. An eclectic mix of pieces mostly French in origin but includes pieces from Germany, Italy and the Netherlands. Thematically most pieces stem from personages or battles of World War I but there are also some commemorating other famous persons, places and events. Ranging in size from a small 25mm German bronze Jeton commemorating the restoration of the Great Wine Cask at Heidelberg to a massive 147 mm base metal piece showing a vista of the city of Belgrade. Most pieces struck in bronze and other base metals. Generally issue free though handling or polishing can be noted on a few pieces and one exhibiting some glue residue. Will reward close examination.
