Cr-544/8; S-1483 (plate coin); Syd-1213. RARE. "ANT AVG III VIR R P C", Praetorian galley right; Reverse: "CHORTIVM PRAETORIARVM" Legionary eagle (Aquila) between two standards. The Praetorian Cohort were an elite sect of veteran soldiers hand-selected to guard the commander of the army. Somewhat grainy surfaces. GOOD VERY FINE.
