MIXED LOTS. Greek & Roman Silver & Bronze Issues, ca. 5th Century BC-4th Century A.D. FINE-VERY FINE.
20 pieces in lot, with examples spanning much of the ancient world. Nearly all silver with a single Roman bronze. Includes a GOOD-FINE Thracian Tetradrachm of Alexander III (The Great) along with multiple silver Roman Denarii including Nero and others, along with provincial Roman Tetradrachms. A few other extraneous pieces such as a Gorgonian coin with an incuse square reverse and a Moesia, Istrus Drachm rounds out the lot. Mostly unattributed coins but in solid FINE or better condition with generally clear legends. A few with minor surface issues, but overall an attractive and wholesome lot. Retail value of approximately $2,800. Inspection advised. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. FINE-VERY FINE.
