Specimen overprint and serial numbers printed by E.A. Wright. Three punch cancels at the signature panels. Extremely large format likely intended for bank to bank transactions rather than a circulating medium. A rich green color fills the face design with vignettes of women seated at left and right. Bank name repeated continuously in under-printing. Back design shares a similar layout to face ornate border in brown and light brown under-prints. We sold another as lot 2086 in our January 2015 NYINC sale which realized $5,581. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
