KM-17 (for countermark type); Gomes-A6.11.14; LDMB-P010 (for countermark type). Type III countermark. 150 Reis over a previous 120 Reis (decree of 1643) on an Alfonso VI Tostao of Porto mint. RARE host coin and countermark combinations. Generally round host coin with minor oxidation. Countermarks unevenly applied. Lightly toned. Both host coin and countermarks are VERY FINE.
