Bare head of Napoleon left, legend around and date below; Reverse: Nude Hercules at left helping draped Italia to her feet while Victory in background records the feat on a tablet. Warm milk chocolate patina with slightly darker hue on reverse. A few tiny contact marks but nothing detracting. Die cracks can be noted on both the obverse and reverse, in the case of the former they are within the left hand legend and the right field and in the case of the reverse from 8 o'clock toward the center. A rim cud is present from 11 to 1 o'clock on the reverse as well as a slight inward bulge of the edge indicating a deteriorating collar. Handling rub relegated only to the highest points and resulting in no flattening of the devices. A handsome larger size medal with an intricate design. CHOICE ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
