Uniformed facing busts of Admiral Ronarch and General Foch on adjoining discs sitting atop a spray of oak and laurel; Reverse: Female figure of the French Republic stands facing with arms folded between groups of soldiers while at her feet a proud erect Gallic cock preens triumphantly over a prone German eagle. In an excellent state of preservation with a lovely golden bronze patina throughout and only the mildest evidence of handling confined to the highest points on the medal. CHOICE UNCIRCULATED.
