36.02 mm; 31.37 gms. Barac-88. Struck in silver. By L.C. Wyon. "VICTORIA REGINA" Crowned bust of youthful Victoria facing left, engraver's signature in exergue; Reverse: "SOUTH AFRICA" Crouching lion, Protea bush and flower behind, "1853" and "L.C. WYON" in exergue. Recipient's name present along the edge: "W. PAGE. 1ST BN RIFLE BDE". The anchor of the buckle is still present, though the full buckle and swivel is no longer present. Some rim dents and surface chatter marks are present, though overall a wholesome example. NEARLY EXTREMELY FINE.
