43.27 mm; 45.32 gms. CNORP-Vol I #146. By Girolamo Paladino after Francesco della Rovere of Celle. Bust of Sixtus IV right; Reverse: The Pope at right wielding pickaxe to demolish wall and open Holy Door while faithful and clergy look on, angels above, three line inscription in exergue. A well preserved piece with handling marks only at the highest points. Partial deep brown patina on obverse while the rest has a warm milk chocolate tone to it. EXTREMEL FINE.
