ITALY. Roman Republic. Scudo, ND (1799). NGC VF-25.
Dav-1486; KM-11; Gig-1; Mont-01. From the very short lived annexation of Rome by Napoleon Bonaparte. The obverse shows a great deal of remaining detail, particularly for the assigned grade. Central reverse weakness through the legends can be attributed more to strike than actual wear. A terrific example of this historically significant Roman Republic issue. NGC VF-25.
Estimate: $300.00- $400.00
