MAURITIUS. 2 Cents, 1877-H. PCGS MS-65 RB Secure Holder.
KM-8. Many collectors would call it full red. We won't argue with the assigned grade except to say it is extremely conservatively graded. And even then, so far it is still the single finest example seen at NGC and PCGS. It is entirely possible the coin was struck with the original Mathew Boulton equipment, as it was still in use clear up until 1882, nearly a century after first going into production. Super strike and even coloration, all of the attributes one would expect from the Heaton Mint. An absolutely sensational example in all respects, and intended for the collector who demands the very best. PCGS MS-65 RB Secure Holder.
