MEXICO. Iturbide & Maximilian Coins, ca. 1822-65. FINE-EXTREMELY FINE.
22 pieces in lot. Fairly well circulated accumulation of coinage from a pair of Mexican leaders who both met the same eventual fate on the receiving end of a firing squad. Historically significant in that both leaders were, in their own way, responsible for helping to shape and form Mexico in the early years after independence. The lot includes several silver proclamation medals, as well as three different crown size 8 Reales. An interesting study group from these turbulent eras, and a quick way to add additional variety to any collection of related material. Retail value of approximately $700. Inspection advised. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. FINE-EXTREMELY FINE.
Estimate: $300.00- $400.00
