36 mm; 13.4 gms. Medina-177; Hererra-153. Bust of Charles III right, in the name of Charles IV; Reverse: Globus cruciger atop stylized mountain, legend around. Struck for the city of Huancavelica, about 200 kilometers east of Lima. In the pre-Incan era, Huancavelica was known as the Wankawillka region or "the place where the grandsons of the Wankas live". An interesting and historical medal from a remote region of Peru. Reflective smooth surfaces with even glossy gray tone. NGC AU-55.
