Y-12.2; Bit-210. Copper. NGC has only graded 5 examples with the RED designation; vastly more SCARCE than its BN and RB peers. A two-year only issue, this large size planchet was quickly abandoned with all subsequent 5 Kopek coinage returning to the smaller-size silver coins. Sports nearly pink centers on both sides, they don't come much nicer than this. NGC MS-64 RD.
