45.60 mm Bramsen-265. By Andrieu. 2 pieces in lot. Radiant eagle with spread wings holding open book; Reverse: Front view of Parliament building. Includes an original 48.08 gms bronze striking and a 49.98 gms silver version denoted as an early restrike circa 1846-60 by the rams head privy mark at 12 o'clock on the edge. Both pieces have a few minor contact marks, none of which are overly detracting, the bronze version also has a light India ink museum number "151" above the exergual line. Both pieces ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
