Y-1. Essentially a one-year issue, Krause also lists an 1852 date which is struck on both a lighter and smaller planchet from different dies. The reverse wreath bears similarities to the design adopted for the Flying Eagle and Indian Head cent in the United States some 15 years later. The piece offered here has solid coffee-bean brown color with bold details. Conditionally RARE at this grade level, nearly all others circulated heavily. PCGS AU-55 BN Secure Holder.
