Ionia, Magnesia ad Meandrum. 400-350 B.C. AR tetartemorion (5.8 mm, 0.14 g, 3 h). Laureate head of Apollo right / MAΓ, grain ear, maeander pattern to right. SNG Kayhan 395-6, otherwise unpublished. gVF. Extremely Rare. CNG 79, lot 340 is another example of the type which they claim is "Extremely rare; the third and finest known." This specimen is nicer than the CNG example which sold for $385 in 2008.
