Alle Welt: Isle de France et de Bourbon: 10.000 Livres 1790 P. 24, issued note with signatures, rare witness of time from the lower east coast of Africa. Part of an issued currency that was valid for only a short time. Only a few of them survived. This is the highest value known issued for this region. Beside the picture in Pick it is hard to find any additional information or even pictures of this rare note. Surely one of the rarest notes issued by the french colonies in Africa. This note seems to have been attached to additional paper so it is more stable, even the note itself has really strong center and vertical folds (one can see that it is nearly torn), one small hole at upper right. Still a collectable beauty which will surely enrich your collection. Highly Rare. Condition: G to VG.
