Testbanknoten: China: Test Note which was used in 1998 for hologram application tests by Leonhard Kurz. The note is printed on real banknote paper by using the printing plates of China 20 Cents 1946 with Specimen overprint P. 395A (but in lilac color, the original note wash printed in green). The print is intaglio uniface and the hologram at right shows the company name "KURZ" and the date 1998 when the test was initiated. A very interesting combination and great addition to any collection. Condition: UNC.
