Watch List notes:

Testbanknoten: Europe: a very rare and hard to get test note for the "Euro 2 Series" issued by the European Central Bank for in house testing in several security printing works. This fascinating specimen item is printed in the same way and on the same substrate as normal Euro banknotes. Also there are many design similarities even the ECB chosed some differerent buildings and descriptions on the note for security reasons. The note is produced in the same printing style (as for example the "93" specimen value shows), the hapic vertical stripes at left and right border are printed as on real Euro notes. The note is dated 2011 and has a watermark of "EUROPE" in different stlye as on the real notes at left. The underprint and intaglio print is exactly produced the way they do it for the EURO. Furthermore interesting is the fact that it is produced in 50 Euro size with space for a holographic stripe at right on front and for the new security feature "WINDOW" at left side on back (not yet cut out but the unprinted field clearly shows the connection to the new window feature on the Euro). Very hard to get archival piece and a great addition for any collector of EURO realated materials. Condition: UNC.
