Testbanknoten: France: beautiful Test Note "Echantillon BALZAC" printed by the Banque de France on security paper of OBERTHUR FIDUIAIRE in the typical french printing style of the 1980s. This note is special because it seems to be the Trial of a "Test Note" of the "Test Note", as it shows only partly the design of the later used complete print of the Balzac note and is also printed in different colors. This Balzac design was originally meant to be an essay for a 100 Francs banknote and was already designed in the 1970s. Later another design was chosen for the 100 Francs banknote so this design was originally an unissued banknote. Later the Banque de France used this design for use on Test Notes like this one. With several overprints "Echantillon" and serial number, a rarely seen type of the BALZAC Trial in condition: UNC.
