Testbanknoten: France: Test Note type "BALZAC" in a special edition: This is a unique print which shows the name of the "Banque de France" at lower border with overprint "ANNULÉ" and letters "HDB" (Honore de Balzac) at lower left. The note is uniface printed black color on white watermarked french banknote paper. Additionally printed is the date "1799 1850" at lower right. First time seen as this Banque de France type and a great addition to any french banknote collection. The vignette of this note was originally designed for a not-adopted 100 Francs banknote in 1970. Very rare and probably unique type. Condition: UNC.
