EASTERN CELTS. 1st century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 31mm, 16.57 g 12), imitating Thasos. Celticized head of Dionysos to left. Rev. Stylized Herakles, radiate, standing facing, holding club and lion's skin; legend degraded to a series of lines and circlets. CCCBM I -. KMW -. Lanz - (cf. 996). Rare. Attractively toned. Flan crack at 3 o'clock, otherwise, extremely fine.
