Rare, cabinet tone, minor weakness of die on obverse, good centering, extremely fine.

Kaulonia was one of the few poleis that held the same types unchanged over time, except for some small stylistic changes. A major transformation occurred at the transition from the incuse coinage that double relief, around 470 BC when the stag, a symbol secondary place on obverse, appeared o reverse, and it remaining so until the end of coin production.
