Very rare, cabinet tone, about extremely fine.
Kroton was one of the richest and powerful poleis of Southern Italy. During the VI century it joined with Sybaris and Metapontion in destroying Siris. After this victory, Kroton assumed more power and it destroyed Sybaris in 510 BC. Kroton became the leader among the Achaean colonies and the polis produced coins with the others cities as Temesa and Hipponion.
