WORLD MEDALS, FRANCE, Les Camps des Cents (the famous French gastronomic club with a membership limited strictly to 100), founded in 1912 by Louis Forest, Bronze Plaquette, by Edmond Henri Becker (1871-1971), facing female, Abundantia, holding bountiful cornucopia, images of wine-making by cherubs above, rev tablet surrounded by game, shell-fish, roast platters and fish, signed EB, named to "Robert Lemaignen 1926-1951", 60.5mm x 90.5mm. Minor knocks and bruises, good very fine and extremely rare.
Robert Lemaignen (1893-1980), French European Commissioner. Edmond Henri Becker best known for his extensive jewellery designs.
