WORLD MEDALS, GREECE, Andreas Vokos Miaoulis (1769-1835), Admiral and Patriot, Copper Medal, 1835, by K Lange, bust left, rev Fame inscribing the Admiral's victories on a rostral column, 42.5mm (Spink Auction 5, 374; MH 153; BDM III, 270). Good very fine, slight stains to reverse.
Miaoulis commanded the Greek revolutionary naval forces during the Greek War of Independence (1821-1830)
