The Kaserini [Kasarani] Estate, close to Nairobi, has long since vanished under housing development. The "Kasarani" name originated from a river that flows through the area, named in Kikuyu the "Gathara-ini" River. Examples of the medals are sometimes found in cases by E Dobbie, Jeweller, Nairobi.
