Miss England II was Sir Henry Segrave's boat in which he captured the water speed record on Lake Windemere on 13 June 1930 moments befor he hit a log and capsized killing both himself and his mechanic. The boat was recovered and, under the ownership of Lord Wakefield and driven by Kaye Don, subsequently broke two more world water speed records.
