George III (1760-1820), pattern gilt Guinea, 1791, by C H Küchler, laureate head right, wreath with three berries and three leaves at top, three raised stops on striated truncation, rev. inverted die axis, crowned spade shaped shield, edge plain (Montagu 674; Selig 1129-1130 'the striations on the truncation are probably indicative of a restrike'), slightly dull, good very fine, rare.
