Poland, Michael I Korybut (1669-73), gold Coronation medal 1669, 6.98g, to the weight of 2-Ducats, legend in two concentric circles, michael dg. rex pol. elect, varsav. 19 iunii coronat cracov, 29 sept. ao. 1669. / dextera domini fecit virtutem, eagle, with out-stretched wings, standing on a globe inscribed polonia resting on a scallop shell floating in the sea, hands, issuing from clouds, holding on the left a sceptre and on the right a sword intertwined with olive, support a crown above, the radiant name of Jehova at top, rev. salus populi suprema lex esto, fortrees on a hilltop, Fame flying above, trumpet in right hand, open book inscribed lex in left, arms of Wisñiowiecki below (Bandtkie 486; HCZ.2371 - R6; Reichel 1673; Zagórski 581), extremely fine, very rare.
