Henry I (1100-35), Penny, 1.21g, Annulets and Piles type (BMC IV), Wallingford, Godwine, crowned facing bust, sceptre to left, rev. godp[in]e on pelin, voided quatrefoil with annulets within (N.860; S.1265), in excavated condition, chip at 2 o'clock, some discolouration, the strike very good and this piece clearly identifiable, good very fine, rare.
